Reasons why we may collect your data
You may at times be asked to supply personal data via the St Nicolas Church website. Personal data is anything which enables us to identify you (e.g. your name and address). If you supply such information, we only use that data for the purpose stipulated at the time of collection and we will ensure that we hold it securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We may collect and record information in order for us to understand more about how our site is used and in turn to make sure that the site reflects your needs. Occasionally we may ask you to fill in questionnaires or surveys whilst on-line. The data collected by the questionnaire or survey will only be used for the purpose stated on the form. Credit card and bank detail information is not retained on our web servers, but is transferred to our secure partners when retention has been authorised by you.

If you make a request for further information via the St Nicolas website, the data will only be retained on the Web Servers as long as necessary in order to respond to your query.
The St Nicolas website often includes links to other sites, not owned or managed by us. We cannot be held responsible for the privacy of data collected by websites not owned or managed by us.
Who do we share information with?
St Nicolas does not rent or sell mailing details to any third party. However, occasionally St Nicolas works with partner organisations or companies to send you information on services we provide or about ways in which you can support us. Unless there is a clear need, we will never simply add your name to another organisation’s database.
